Anna is dedicated to telling the stories of immigrant communities, especially in the Twin Cities she calls home. She’s fascinated by the ways immigration connects the global and the local, shaping everyday experiences in unexpected ways. Whether she’s covering an economic trend or diving into a music-centered story, Anna commits to spending quality time with her sources, earning the trust that helps her bring forward honest, nuanced reporting.

She has spent over two years working for the University of Minnesota’s Radio K where she makes podcasts for Real College Podcast, an arts and culture radio show. This fall, she interned at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as a business reporter. She’s also freelanced for the Minnesota Women’s Press and the University of Minnesota Alumni Magazine.

In her free time, Anna plays intramural basketball and goes to concerts.
